This unit will develop your knowledge of the importance of communication and information management in adult care services. You will explore confidentiality and consent in relation to information sharing and the role of communication and information management. This unit will look at what is required when leading and managing effective systems and practice for communication in adult care services. You will explore how to lead practice that promotes person centred communication systems and when adapting communication approaches may be necessary as well as how to maintain effective practice in communication using recording and reporting systems.
