The unit aims to provide learners with in-depth knowledge about planning processes across all key aspects of supply chain management.
The relevance of each of the planning processes, the associated information requirements and modelling and analytic techniques are covered.

Scenario:
You have recently secured a ‘Lead Operations Manager’ role with 3663 group, a logistics specialist company providing frozen items to high street restaurants. You have taken over in a challenging period where the industry is affected by COVID19.
You understand the organisation will have a complicated and trying year ahead. You are tasked by the Senior Management to develop plans to ensure that there is a greater clarity on the demand and supply based on mathematical reasoning. The Head of Operations have allocated you two tasks that you need to carry out.
