ASSIGNMENT TASK:
- Demonstrate an understanding of marketing theories and methods used to promote a new piece of Aesthetic Equipment or Product range discussed in CW1 which is to be launched at an UK Aesthetic Business in Birmingham.
- Identify a FOUR marketing theories which can be applied to the marketing plan (Market Segmentation, The Marketing mix, Buying behaviour and A.I.D.A Model)
- Justify marketing methods (Digital and Social media) which could be used to promote the Aesthetic business
TASK GUIDANCE:
- A: Identify and apply a range marketing theories which can be used to promote the business. For Example: Identify the Clinics market segmentation, The Marketing Mix (Place, Product, Price and Promotion) Buying behaviour and the AIDA model. All theories must be justified using academic based research and linked to your specific target market identified through market segmentation.
- B: Identify and Justify digital marketing methods to promote the chosen product or equipment which best suits your demographic. For Example: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Websites, SEO, SEM, You Tube. All methods must be justified using academic based research and linked to your specific target market.
- All of your methods and theories must be justified using academic based research and linked to your specific target market using Market Segmentation.

MARKING CRITERIA:
● 10% of marks – Introduction explaining what will be discussed/included in the report, and conclusion to include recommendations.
● 40% of marks – Identification of a range marketing theories which can be used to promote the new product: Market segmentation, Buying Behaviour, Marketing Mix and AIDA module. All theories must be justified using academic based research and linked to your target market. (L1)
● 40% of marks – Identification and Justification of Digital and social media marketing methods to best promote the Aesthetic Business. For Example: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Websites, SEO, SEM, and You Tube. All theories must be justified using academic based research and linked to your specific target market. (L2)
● 10% of marks – Use of reliable academic sources and using them correctly during your presentation and uploading a reference list. Demonstrate an understanding of marketing theories and methods used to promote a new piece of Aesthetic Equipment or Product range discussed in CW1 which is to be launched at an UK Aesthetic Business in Birmingham.
